Welcome! My name is Emily and I started Oak & Sage in 2022 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin and spending four years in the corporate world. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our daughter, Sage, I knew I wanted to find a way that I could stay home with her while also providing for my family. After fervently asking the Lord what that looked like, He faithfully gave me a vision for Oak & Sage. After my daughter developed eczema at 6 months old, I was determined to find a solution that matched our holistic lifestyle. I knew I didn't want a band-aid to the problem, but rather something that would heal it completely. After months of research and coming up with my own beef-tallow concoctions, my homemade cream healed her eczema within 3 days of use. That's when Oak & Sage was born! I knew I had to share this with the world and offer natural skincare that really worked and could give others hope too.
