The non-nano zinc oxide and organic carrot oil combination give effective sun protection without the greasy white residue. Our sunscreen allows you to enjoy all of the benefits from the sun without all the toxic chemicals.
How does non-nano zinc oxide work?
Zinc oxide is a naturally occurring mineral that has been used for centuries for its medicinal and skincare properties. Non-nano zinc oxide refers to particles of zinc oxide that are larger in size, typically greater than 100 nanometers. These larger particles are beneficial for sunscreens as they provide physical protection by reflecting and scattering UV rays away from the skin's surface.
Along with the non-nano zinc oxide, we use organic carrot oil which has natural sun protection properties. Apply every hour if in water, or every 1.5 hours for other outdoor activities!

My husband and I took this tallow sunscreen to Indonesia on a trip and it protected us from the brutal equator sun - from the top of a volcano summit down to the prettiest beaches. I originally purchased this for my toddler as a safer alternative to sunscreen but now our entire family uses and loves this! I have taken it with me on multiple trips and it works amazing! I love the consistency and how it completely rubs in! Will definitely be purchasing more!!!
The smaller size is absolutely PERFECT for travel! Took this with me for 2 weeks in Europe, over 100 degrees and my skin was protected and glowy! I will say, it is a little heavier feeling than most sunscreens as this is definitely more of a cream than lotion so do not expect something light. That being said, it was moisturizing enough to use on its own and made my skin look super perfected! Can’t be without it now.
I LOVE this sunscreen! Not only is the application wonderful, it also protected my skin from the Jamaican sun!! (I burn super easy, but this protected my skin)
